Our Mental Health Occupational Therapist collaborates with patients within our Primary Care Network (PCN) to support their mental well-being and enhance their ability to engage in daily life. The focus is on helping you live your best life - whether at home, at work, or in your community. We understand that mental health can affect your ability to engage in everyday tasks, from learning at school and excelling at work, to participating in sports or even completing simple chores like doing the dishes. Our goal is to empower you to overcome these challenges, improving your overall well-being and enabling you to take part in the activities that matter most to you.

How Can Occupational Therapy Support My Mental Health?

Our Occupational Therapist (OT) works with patients facing challenges in carrying out everyday activities and achieving their goals, often due to mental health struggles. Through comprehensive, holistic assessments, our OTs develop personalised, targeted interventions designed to support you in reaching your meaningful daily goals, helping you regain confidence and improve your overall well-being.

The PCN Occupational Therapist can support you in:

Gaining a deeper understanding of your mental health experiences and symptoms

Learning practical strategies and tools to manage and overcome challenges like low mood, lack of motivation, anxiety, panic, excessive worry, and sleep disturbances

Establishing a daily and weekly routine while setting realistic, achievable goals

Connecting you with other healthcare, social care, and specialist services to meet your individual needs

And much more!

The PCN Occupational Therapist works with:

Patients aged 18+

Patients registered with a GP in Shoreditch Park & City PCN

Patients with chronic and/or complex mental health conditions that significantly impact their ability to perform daily tasks and maintain overall health and well-being.
