Winter Skies Photography Competition - Winners announced!
1st place - Diane Kinsella, Lawson Practice.
"This competition came along at exactly the right time, as the days were short, dark and dreary it was the perfect incentive to get out and look up.
This photo is one of my favourites, taken alongside the Britania Leisure Centre and Shoreditch Park and I love how the colours made me feel- very content in that moment and a feeling that after the first few months since moving, I feel like I'm home."
2nd Place - Samantha Shakes, The Lawson Practice.
"Entering the competition helped lift my depressive mode, reminded me of the energising power of nature, and woke up my Creative Spirit (that's alot!)!
This photo was taken on a cold and windy day. My energy was low and I wanted to be in bed. Suddenly, I was in a spotlight that was warm and soothing. I looked to see where the comfort was coming from. There it was steadfast in the distance - the sun. I smiled, breathed deeply and no longer wanted to be in bed."

"Winning this competition means the world to me as my mission of brightening people's lives was in my heart when I took this photo during my walk in Regents Park.
The sun shining through an ice-covered lake at Regents Park and interacting with the ice crystals, I want to bring all people love, joy, peace and hope. The name of my landscape photography is 'With Every Hardship Comes Ease'."
