PPG Patient Online Engagement Event 20/02/2025

We are delighted to share the success of our recent Patient Engagement Event, held on online on Thursday, 20th February 2025.

The event provided an opportunity for patients to learn more about the services offered by Shoreditch Park & City PCN and engage in meaningful discussions about their healthcare needs. 

Many patients were unaware of the full range of services the PCN offer and were excited to learn about the support available to them. 

Dr Jenny Darkwah, the PCN Clinical Director provided insights into the range of services available including:

• GP appointments and extended access
• Mental health support
• Social prescribing and wellbeing services
• Pharmacy consultations
• Health checks and preventative care
• Together Better Programme

Patients raised important questions about service accessibility, appointment booking and future healthcare developments. 

Patients appreciated the opportunity to engage directly with the PCN and there was strong interest in mental health support and social prescribing services.

Next steps

•  We will use the feedback gathered to improve patient services and communication.
• Future engagement events will be planned to ensure ongoing dialogue with our patients.
